Long time no see ! Needing a Canadian cowl tag deciphered
Hey guys been a few years since I’ve posted lol
waiting on approval for the Facebook page so thought I would try here
looks like I bought myself a 66 holiday coupe and hoping one of you guys can read the tag on it ...

Congrats Wes! Glad to see you've got a car again. I'm not a 1966 guru but have got an assembly manual and chassis service manual if I can key out a few things from them.
Paint code M is Autumn Bronze
088 Medium Bronze interior
A65 Notch back bench seat
M33 Jetaway Transmission
I'm not coming up with the X05

Hey John thanks !! Glad to be back
I am guessing a Cali car .
I put an add out and this guy responded saying he had a 67 442 that’s been sitting so he sent pics .
its a 66 number one and I’m pretty sure it’s a rebadged f85 since it has no exterior chrome or hood spear

33817 is a Cutlass Holiday Coupe. The trim got lost in the repaint. You'll find the holes welded or bondoed up. Either that, or the cowl tag isn't original. The VIN will also tell you exactly what it is. Obviously the split bench isn't original either. I don't know what you mean by "Cali car", but no car sold in Calif would have come from Canada originally.

Thanks Joe .... my thinking was way off on the Cali thought lol
you were correct on the trim delete thought
I ended up buying the car .. will be a graduation gift to my son in a couple of years he just doesn’t know it yet .
will be a very low budget build on this one whatever I have for the car will put back on then track down the remainder of missing parts
the nice surprise was it came with a set of B85 trim
does anyone know who offers the window felts for the trim ?
a couple of pictures tucked in the tiny garage for now .. hard to get it in somewhere as it was starting to snow when I got home
Not a fan of cloned cars but that’s what I got for badges so it’s going on

Welcome back fellow Sasky, Try RPM parts in Saskatoon for the window felt. I got some for my 65 there. Love the 66s, my first Olds was a 66 F85 coupe back in 69, made me into an Olds lifer, lol.
