Notice where Joes eyes are fixated on in the first picture. My "encounter" with Linda was at the Miller Oldsmobile meet at Norwalk. Probably 15 years ago. Dick had the Car Show on the spectator side of the track. It was the year he had a lot of Hurst Olds and he had Linda there. I had a little mini bike I nicknamed "widow maker." I rode it over to the car show, I was on the main aisle. A G-body Hurst Olds was coming up the side aisle ready to turn right on to the main aisle to leave. People sitting on the passenger side corner started saying goodbye to Linda. She was leaning to the passenger side saying goodbye as she wide turned right into my lane. I went to the right into the grass, no big deal. Linda stopped and apologize for not watching were she was going. I told no problem, have a good day. When I went back to the pits, I jokingly told my Buddies, Linda Vaughan almost killed me on "widow maker."
