Like sitting on a couch the whole way home.
Well I found this today and a deal was struck to come home with me. 1971 98 bought from original owner's nephew. Very nice rust free driver.

WOW! I had a 71 in the late 70s. Just looking at yours put a lump in my throat. I had a sedan. When people got in the back seat and saw there was a clock there, they knew they were riding in style. Man, did I love that car. Most young people nowadays will never know what power steering and power brakes are (I mean real power steering and real power brakes). Please post more pics!

Thanks guys. I'm gonna spend a little time on it this weekend on some details then I will get pics. I took a chance on this one because I don't know the big car market real well but this one was so clean and 98% rust free I went for it. I hope to flip it and make a few bucks back toward my doc bills.

Looks like I need to come visit and see this in person! VERY nice looking!
What engine does it have? Mileage?
Looks like it will not need much. Maybe a good cleanup, fluid change, and other PM stuff.
More pics!!!

Very nice! My wife has commented on how my 88 is more comfortable than our couch. I've mentioned I'd be willing to try to find an Olds bench seat at the salvage yard to put in the living room...

yea I don't have time to take on anything major. It needs minor cleanup and a tune up and it will be ready to sell. Has 169K he thinks his uncle rebuilt the 455 but not sure when. Other than a little roughnes at idle it runs great.

Back in college I commuted for a semester in a '71 Toronado (this was in the mid 1990's) - what a great "couch" that was - seasick sometimes though! Car got stolen and the worst part was the loss of the 8 tracks I had amassed at flea markets to use in the car!

I would love that car and I need one. But I don't think it is fuel efficient model my wife wants. Hmmmm 200r4 and maybe a 2.14 rear to boost milage. Bet it would cruise all day 100+. Just take it a little while to get up there.
