lift supports for 72 cutlass trunk

I broke one of the torsion bars for the trunk lid on my 72. thinking about putting lift supports in . Has anyone done it? if so how did it work out?

lift supports for my 72

Chris thanks for the reply. I have a cutlass supreme. A junk yard owner didnt have any but said that the length makes a difference. I think I need the smaller one. I am trying to findd the notes on this. lord knows if I do find the right ones that i can get somone to install . Never hadto even touch these things on any car i have owned . Mabe a body guy.
