That's the fun of livin' on Long Island. Can't get on and can't get off without sitting in traffic for hours..... unless you cross over the bridge at 3am!

Hope you can make it.

I was there. The show was nice but wow the "non-Oldsmobile" section has really grown! There was one '76 Ninety Eight Regency but it was parked outside the show. Anybody know who's car it was? I think it was just recently on ebay. Very nice car...well opted.

I forgot my camera (sorry).
I took 2nd place in 64-67 442.
1st place was an absolute stunning 66 trac-pac car..was that you 66trakpak ?
I didn't see anyone by the car all day.
I told them my car was a cutlass with 442 emblems, but they insisted on putting me in 442 class.
I felt really bad for the guys who have real 442's..not fair to them.
I didn't see anyone from this board.
Wanted to meet you guys.
Great show !!

A couple of nice 442 convertibles:

IMG_1091.jpg?t=1272940755

That's all the pictures I took. I don't know what the number of cars that were there but I would say at least 150-200. A lot of nice cars. My car was parked right across from Fusick's so I did not have far to walk to get more parts.

squirrell, thanks for the compliments on my car. i won best of show in 2006 when my car was just finished, and my friends 69 was finished recently and looks great, i am really happy for him. its a beautiful car. the w-31 does have dog dish caps, i also love the color combo. i usually take my car to mostly south shore cruise nights, oakdale, bobs in west islip, sometimes cedar beach in the summer.

Thanks Sandy. It was about 75 and mostly sunny. I had my hood open, but it still has a long way to go before it is the "most beautiful" under the hood like yours is. Have not had any time to redo it yet so I have to get blue to come over and help me.

Squirell,

I would have introduced myself but I was looking for your convertible that you have pictured in your Avatar and did not see it. Of course, it wasn't easy looking around because of the kids were acting up! I was only parked about 40 feet from that red car too. Oh well, I guess we'll have to meet up for a beer at another show.

I usually go to Bald Hill, Deer Park, or Wading River. I would like to go to Bellmore, it's on Friday's right? What exit is it?
