I hate to see the cruise nights and shows wrap up at the end of each year, it just means the weathers getting nasty and the car covers go on for extended times. So last Saturday was the last show, it was a benefit show for a local hot rodder Danny Lovato who was injured in a balloning accident at Albuquerques International Balloon Fiesta. The day started of cold and drizzling but warmed up the sun came out and had a great turnout of about 130 cars! The event was also going to have a balloon glow but as the time approached the wind was a little too risky and only one balloon was still there when it was safe which was around 6:00. There were also some balloon baskets with the burners on the ground and while the operator was warming the crowd up we got some photo ops. Any way heres some pics of the event.
