Sounds like a terminal case of the MIGHTASWELLS...

Seriously, do you know that there's a patch panel for this area? Most vendors list it as a 66-67 Chevelle part, but it's the same on all the A-body cars.

yeah , I got the patch panel but didn't think it would extend into the metal part of the dash. just a little nervous about getting a good fit there...txtom

Unfortunately, I've only seen the one for the 64-67 cars.

"Last repair." - One of the biggest oxymorons in the old car hobby.

I have a severe case of the "mightaswells" right now and it is not getting better!
Torn rear seat = new carpet, sound deadener, power windows, new door panels, new amp, etc......

Tom I have the same car. also with the same patch section on my cowl and channel area. replace the least amount of metal as possible is the key from the experiance I have had. lucky for me my areas are small so mine will be fairly easy to do. post some pics if you can I know there are a few pro body guys on this board

Open the forum you want, look at the upper left hand of the list, right on top. There should be a blue box that says "New Thread" If your not seeing that there may be a hiccup in the system. John
