Key cylinder

I have the starter switch out of my 68 with the old key cylinder, I need to remove it and put in the new one which I actually have keys too. Is there a method of doing this? I tried to stick something down the small hole but it didn't release anything.

You need to have the key in the cylinder and turn it (counterclockwise???) while pushing down with a paper clip. I've never done it without the key but I assume you drill it. If you search you'll find there are a few posts on this already

I have no key which is why I got a new one lol, guess to a locksmith I go, or actually I'll just buy a new starter switch for $30, probably cheaper.

Had one re-keyed for $8.00. Call a locksmith beforehand I'd say.
