Ka head value

I'm considering putting a set of Ka Heads up on eBay and am wondering about their present value. I bought these off of Craig's list a couple years ago. Before I bought them I required they be pressure tested at a local
engine production shop. They both passed pressure test but I don't have any record of the test.

Some one told me they were worth what ever I could get for them. Please, I'm looking for a numeric number. Not smart aleck remarks.

I'd guess between $125 and $175. You might get lucky and sell them for more, but if you want to move them I'd look in this range. Good Luck!

Thanks for your reply and suggestion. I guess they will be on eBay for a while because I'm going above high end. $200.00 each.

Do you think I should put the rockers on them before I take pictures?

For 400/pr you will probably have to have either a local buyer that can come back with 'em if they prove unserviceable, or they would need paperwork showing they passed inspection. They are proper W30 replacements, and should be big valve units, so, if in good shape $400/pr is not unreasonable for the restoration crowd. The lower the price, the faster they will sell. I have yet to sell ONE of my halo girdles at $4420.68 on epay.

Adding the rockers is only a bonus if they are real nice, like new rollers. Worn original parts are considered scrap metal.

However, this ain't 2003, and for $1100 you can get brand new aluminum B. Mondello heads all done... so for the not so picky exact-part crowd, iron heads are practically passe'.
