K-07
I just saw one of the nicest 69 442 convertibles [Lansing built]I've EVER seen. Totaly unmolested survivor [so they say]. Looks VERY nice, 4 speed m-20,a.m., possi, power steering, power front drums. The previous owner has a letter from the Olds History Center that shows the options, colors etc that list K-07 "diesel heater."
Could someone splain that one, I'm lost

The car has a build sheet and I was guessing the owner mixed up some letters/number when he wrote them to get some information. but I duno

Yes, I saw the build sheet, but ole eyes let me down. It was well worn. I'm guessing, the owner sent a letter to the Olds History Center, requesting information. I am also guessing he could have misread the well worn build sheet.
The car was from "up north" so I thought it could have been an oil heater.
What does the K-05 look like.Is the K-05 an oil heater that could have been ordered for a car from the f"rozen north." I've only heard of oil heaters being used in Alaska, but the car was origionally from Michigan.
5 transposed to a 7 on a 40 year old piece of paper is beginning to sound more reasonable-Thanks Joe
p.s. This is a Really nice 69 4 speed convertible IMHO-blew me away
[ and yes he wants mega bucks for it]
