Just picked up a Cutlass

I didn't expect to get this car today, but I did. And I paid a pretty penny for it when one considers how rough it is.
It is a complete car.
It has a 455ci Olds, we fired it up and it ran smooth
Factory A/C, complete and intact
Complete interior with Bucket seats, center console, sport steering wheel and solid floors
The 442 hood with the factory air cleaner
Factory rallys

The bad: Rust! the easiest way to describe the body is as follows. The doors open and close with a solid feel, and the passenger side door is near perfect, as are the wheel well moldings.

I am now trying to figure out whether to part it out or fix her up. Any comments, suggestions.

Fix it up! From the pictures it doesn't look that bad at all. Heck I'd give it a bath and drive it as-is.

I think it depends on your budget, your ability, and your goal in the end. It is a pretty complete car that would make a really cool car done. But, it is now your's to do with as you please.

Well! I have to admit, I am surprised. I bought the car based with the sum of all of it's parts in mind. I figured it was too far gone to restore, but I really wanted the air breather and hood pins. And with the running 455, W25 hood, bucket seats, really nice center console, and the sport steering wheel, I figured I'd get some, if not all my money back by parting the car out.
But based on what I am hearing I need to keep the car intact.
Thanks for the input.
