The author mentions swapping the motor into an A body. Are there any similar components on this motor and a ‘70 A body motor ? Do they share any parts ?

They share just about everything except the a/c compressor bracket( the compressor sits a little higher in the big cars) & motor mounts.

Not sure who wrote this article but they are mistaken about where Ralph Schomp was. The ex location is currently a Tesla dealership. When I installed car stereos back in the eighties their used lot was next door to us. It is still a used car dealer. Ralph Schomp bought a few brand new Oldsmobiles. He put them in that building. When he passed they rolled the cars out and sold them. I can't remember all the cars. One was a 66 Toronado. There was a 50 two door. 63 Ninety Eight I think. There was a 37/8 and a couple others. They were all mint. All brand new cars.
