John McNeel Rocks

John McNeel is the best, he helped me out with my quarter panel needs for my 72 olds 442. I just wanted to let any and all know that John gives 100% I have not seen the part in person yet, but the pics he sent were detailed, so I know I will be happy. Thank you John for all of your help on this.

Glad to hear, been wondering about him.

A lot of us have been getting parts from John/2blu442 for years and know he's the man.
I couldn't of finished my car without the parts I got from John, nobody else had them or weren't willing to mess with them if they did.

A few more more votes of confidence and thumbs-up never hurts though.

He is the one to be lucky enough to have his own personal OLDS-ONLY salvage yard.
I have met him and he is even nicer in person than online!

I agree John is a great guy. Only thing is he never gets his own projects done. It would be cool to see one of his projects in the major build thread someday. Keep up the great work John

Thank you for the kind words guys! Yes Rob, it may take some adult supervision before I can get a handle on all the directions I'm going in

On the bright side though I've been collecting a ton of parts for the project cars. Maybe I should start a major build thread just discussing what I've got planned? John

With all the parts you have have, I can see 30 finished cars coming out of the barn just like off the assembly line.

Sounds like a good idea. When Rob moves up there I'll come down with my motorhome for a couple months and we'll get some of them there projects done

That is of course if i finally get my 48 done

I too have been saved from the boneyard by John. He always has the stuff and is a really great person to deal with. Always so helpful. Thanks again John.

Well, I took delivery of the quarter panel today, and it is as John said, no rust at all, none. Thank you John, when I get this cleaned up it will be like putting a n.o.s. quarter on. Did you find the other small pieces that we talked about?

I'm glad the package arrived OK Kevin, and that your pleased with the parts! Email sent about the small parts we'd discussed. If you haven't created one yet I hope you start a major build thread so we can all follow your restoration project! John

I Have been working on this car throughout the years just as time allows. I have the frame all powder coated, and is a complete rolling chassis again. I have most everything I need to do this thing the right way. My next project will be rebuilding the engine and Replacing any worn tyranny gears or synchronizers. Once I get the drive train in I will move forward on the body work, Master Craft in Ovilla Texas will do the honors.
I will post something on major builds when I get going on the engine.
Thanks again John.
