Internet Movie Car Database
Anyone ever seen this site? Someone just pointed it out to me today. I've known of the Internet Movie Database (IMDB) for quite some time, but I've never heard of the Internet Movie CAR Database. It's pretty cool. Find your car and see what movies and tv shows it has appeared in. They even show a couple of instances for a '73 Custom Cruiser.

In looking through some of the entries, I see that there are occasional errors, such calling a '74 a '73 or something like that. But what I find interesting is that he's able to identify some of these from quite a long ways away. They're clearly Oldsmobiles, and they're clearly of the correct vintage, but sometimes they're barely a blur. Cool, anyway.

Not an Oldsmobile, but it is mine! My 68 F250,from a Hallmark tv movie, late 80s. I didn't know it was in a movie until a friend saw it. It is my California truck,I keep it there for when I am out there working. ---bil

Kind of disappointed that all of the 78-80 "buttlesses" are 4 doors. In the movie 'Slapshot", Paul Newmans girl drove a 64 cutlass, which isn't mentioned. I'm sure there's more, but the guy can't be everywhere.
Nice listings though.

Does anyone remember a tv series that aired for a few years starting in 1981? I think it was kind of a detective series. The main car used in the series was a 1981 Cutlass Supreme, in Midnight Blue. I liked the car so much I ordered one. Just can't remember the tv show now.
Any help????

I've seen this site before....definitely pretty cool to see how many times a particular type of car appears on film....Although I was bummed to see this 98 get hit, look how bad to the car that hit it turned out!

Seems like 70 442 didn't make much movie history. However, my 1978 Pontiac Trans Am sure made a lot of em. I bought it right out of college.....guess I was still a kid and of course influenced by Smokey and the Bandit. One day I'll find another one Loved that that Screamin Eagle!!!
Has there every been another car of any era with a picture of an animal on it??? Mustangs don't count cause the Cobra and the horse were not pictures, they were/are emblems.
