You'll have to buy white from any of the Mfg's and dye them to the custom color you want.
and Welcome to CO!

I have heard i can get it already to be installed and done. Doesn't sounds like a bad ideal i would be concerned about fading. Just was trying to see if any one has some solutions, because the quotes I'm getting are outrageous for a shop to do it.

You can get any color that was made in 73 from Legendary and possibly from other years. If you are talking custom custom you are on the hook from a local shop.

Concerning dyeing to a custom color, you can be confident with SEM or Marhyde dyes. The SEM can be mixed to match almost any color for spraying in a siphon or HLVP type spray gun and the results and durability will be amazing.Check with your local automotive paint suppliers. They make prep products for washing the materials both hard plastics and vinyl, and the dye, also works well on carpet. Larry

Most auto interior shops should be able to handle the dying (or they'll farm it out to someone else). I would check a few other shops. Ten thousand sounds a bit much for just a change of color. Around here it usually runs about 2 thousand.

What are getting done...real gold flake?

To be more specific. My interior is blue and black with I want to change everything completely red accept ford the wood grain panels would post pics but I'm on Vaca and don't have any in my phone. The lowest quote I got was 8 grand and I'm like there has to be a better way.
