Ignition Buzzer

When i first got my car, There were 2 different tones related to the ignition. there is a "Whiny, screechy" sound when the key is inserted with the door open, then there's a buzzer when it is turned (assuming for seat belt warning). The buzzer has stopped working and i would like to replace it, but while im at it, the horrid sounding "key in ignition/door open" tone wavers, and sounds like whatever mechanism generates it isn't in the best shape. My questions are, where is the ignition/seat belt buzzer, and is it replaceable? also the same for the "key in/door open" tone device. id love to replace it with a new unit, or perhaps a 2nd buzzer. The sound it makes now is awful, and it makes people laugh when they hear it outside as it is very audible. Not quite what im going for lol Anyhow, thanks as always for reading guys!

Carlarena1 - I'm noticing a pattern in your threads/posts (perhaps). Thoroughly evaluate your GROUND circuitry.

My TA has both those buzzers, both diff. I don’t think either are avail anymore. Most were taken out, esp the seatbelt buzzers.
one of those buzzers had a small heavy metal pc glued on it.

These buzzers are available through some of the Resto parts suppliers. They are used in a variety of gm cars.

Hey, thanks guys. I'll be checking and repairing any and all ground issues tomorrow when I'm off. I've never heard a ringing just a shrill continuous monotone sound when the key is in and the door is open. The seat belt buzzer just quit 1 day, and I'm hoping to find a bad ground as the culprit.
