Identification of '50s Oldsmobile

Growing up I owned a series of Olds's. My favorite was the '56 Olds Starfire Convertible (why I sold it is a good question, it was loaded).
But, during a time when I had several different models over a few years I lost track.
My problem which I need help with is identifying the year and models of two from thee surviving pictures One I believe was taken in '58.

The year is 1953. Hard to tell model, but looks like an 88 script on the trunk lid?

Think You Nailed It

Long time ago but now that the memory has been jogged I think all are right, it being a '53. I do remember the bottom color being sort of a light baby blue and the top white. I don''t remember what the differences between a Holiday and Super Holiday were so unsure what model? At least my great grands will know a bit more now when they sort through all of the pics I digitized some day. Thanks folks!

The Holiday two door hardtop was only offered in the Super 88 series. " Deluxe " 88's only offered two and four door "post" sedans .

It's a 1953 Olds Super 88,Due to the 88 with the rocket on the trunk lid. 88's didn't get that ornament.

Are you the well dressed man standing next to the car (note wheel cover missing)? It is a hardtop and I notice a tailpipe on the left hand side so it had dual exhaust. I bet this was a really nice ride.
