faux chrome on the edges of top plate console inserts of the 70-72 442's? Not the wood inserts themselves, just faux chrome inserts that the faux wood inlays are housed on top of. Hoping there is some type of resto company that can do this type of work on these plastic inserts.

 

I wonder if Just Dashes would do it. That's the type of work they do...

 

Anyone vacuum metalize plastic parts anymore? I had my original redone on the 71 442's dual gate back in the 90s. Can't remember who. They were always advertising in Hemmings. This was, obviously, before repops were available.
