Can anybody help to define the correct model/Year this fuel pump would match as original? It should be a match for a 70-442, but not certain.

That last digit is KEY..... can't quite make it out --- might need to clean it
better...... 40711, 40712, & 40713 are all Oldsmobile fuel pumps -- but have different year and model applications............
See if you can gently clean it -- and get that vital 5th digit...............
Absolutely -- 40712 -- I'll tell you its' application.....
The only thing is -- it is Thursday, April 13th. The library is closed for the whole weekend -- good Friday & Easter -- and next week, I am in Carlisle, Pa. for the big car show -- Spring Carlisle.... so I won't be able to get to a computer for two weeks.........
