When I found out it was on Craigslist I looked it up, He was not real clear about the rust. The body is real nice though.

Nice project and at a very good price! Have you found the 1965 sites yet? The ones I know of are:

Ive been buying parts here and there. I ordered the club coupe (read expensive) interior for it 8 months ago. The door panels are on the UPS truck waiting to be delivered, hopefully Ill be home when they come back today.

Who do you use for the interior, is it all one company? I have heard allot of people having problems with the quality and fit, mostly with the door panels.

The only place that makes club coupe interiors is SMS in Oregon. Everything is custom made to order. They dont make seat covers but do sell the material to have them sewn up. I used PUI covers on my hardtop. The covers are decent, the door panels suck ***. I ended up finding some nice OE panels and spraying them to match. Id think the sedan panels are better than their hardtops. The hardtops have a bunch of heat pleats that dont come out well when reproduced.

I don't know why I put myself through this. I bought this car thinking I would be able to put my purest ways aside, and build something fun! I even have a 455 that I had bought just so my son and I could find a car like this one, and have some fun with it.
Well, I can't do it! I can't take a car that is all original and change it. My son is mad at me now; he hates the "all blue classic look."

Plese watch these videos as many times as it takes for you to decide that indeed you do need that 455 in your 65.
And to be fair, make sure you show your son too.

When I got this car I really did think I would change it up a little, it's just such a struggle for me.
My son is 25 and loves the old cars, just not all that comes with it.
He would like to put a off brand crate engine in it! That just wont happen!
