I need help decoding my vin no. and cowl plate info

I picked up a 55 88 4dr sedan (not the one in my sig pic). Can anyone decode the following?

VIN # 558M49343

STYLE # 55-36690 (or 55-3669D)
BODY # L24816
TRIM # 381
PAINT # 10-50
TOP ACC

Thanks,
Roy

VIN's back in those days were extremely uninformative as far as telling you anything you didn't already know. All that that VIN says is that it's a 1955 Super 88 built at Lansing.

Thumbs up

Thank you much, GAOldsman, that's good to know considering that the car is now white over blue.
