I was in Fresh Market today and a guy asks me if I was the owner of the Cutlass, I said yes. So we get talking and he tells me he ordered a Yellow 71 W-30 new in Florida. Had it a few years and sold it. Five years or so ago he had a friend in DMV and wanted to track it down. Somehow he was successful and the current owner in Texas has had it about 30 years and found it behind an apartment building with 4 flat tires. He told the guy he had all the paperwork from the sale would he like it. Naturally he said yes. The guy overnights it and never hears back. For 5 years he is still hoping for a thank you. I said "that probably raised the value considerably" did he pay you anything? He said no, he just wanted to pass it on. I was stunned at the no thank you at all. Well if your on the site and want to make someone happy I can get his address.

Unfortunately I guess that proves that not all people that own Oldsmobiles are nice guys. There is no shortage of jack wagons out there.
