I can't see driving that baby to the grocery store and back. "Booth Babe" is awesome . Can I use that?

Joe, have you seen the cars that do Hot Rod's Drag Week? If not, check some out; they're typically a Pro Mod on the street. They drive 1500 miles stopping at 5 tracks, and the winner usually has sub 7 second time slips without chase vehicles or being trailered.

That's exactly why I said that. Those cars and builders are impressive as hell. I suspect that the H/O in this thread is more "show" and less "go".

Adding onto the booth babe thing, the creator seems to have personified it into a woman with this sorceress thing. I get the vibe of Elvira whipping some fat old guy as he's strapped over the engine bay. Creepy.

If you go to the web page, he built a race boat about 10 years ago called Sorcerer. This is Sorceress.

Yup, and given the boat's power plant, this more than likely is nowhere near Olds powered - not even DRCE.

Good point.

Based on a 598-cubic-inch Merlin block with custom-ported and polished Big Chief cylinder heads

So is the boat or the car on top when they're doing it?
