This is a different approach to engine assy and rebuild. It was posted on another site. Quite interesting.

Wow, I need his number so he can build all my engines, but I guess he is overwhelmed with work right now, too bad!

I hope to catch his instructional video on fixing the cam lobes to make them perfectly round with some 320 sandpaper

I saw that video some time ago, and have told people about it, but didn't keep a link, so couldn't find it again - thanks for posting it!

I mention this video to people who tell me that they'll just check on YouTube to find out how to do something.

Viewer Beware!

He should have spent an additional 16 dollars to replace the lifters that were concave with non "junky" ones.

Wow, the kid is a genius. All these years I have thrown away all those dished lifters. Also no need to use sealer on SBC head bolts, or even oil for torqueing. Not to mention his valve adjusting technique. I bet he never posted the video he made when he started the engine. That would be a good one.

I doubt he ever started the engine.

The video is obviously a (fairly funny) prank.
If he'd been able to start the engine, rest assured that he would have posted that, too, as it would have been even funnier.
