A couple of cars I saw at HAN2017. plus my car (white one). CHOOSE YOUR PICK AND WHY?!!!

 

The blue 72 w30 is stunning!!!

 

I agree . I don't normally like blue but this color is nice combo with the white.

 

I was at the Hot August Nights event in Virginia City on August 4 for a couple of hours or so in the morning. All the cars were showing up very quickly and were lined up on the main street in town. Very nice setting. I saw exactly one Oldsmobile during the time I was there, a '57.

I spoke with the owner, and he told me he drives it every year from his home in Dallas to the HAN events and that he has put about 30,000 miles on the car over the years in making the 3200 mile round trip. He also told me he's used to being the only Oldsmobile.

Is the color on the blue one an original color? Looks too deep for Viking blue.

 

@jaunty75 that's awesome. nice pictures. I like Virginia city. I ate breakfast there one time years ago at HAN. there is so much to do . when I first started going to HAN around 5 or 6 years ago . I didn't see that many Oldsmobiles . This was cool to see a few of this caliber.

@grmchne78 as far as I know it was a #s matching W-machine. it looks a little darker in the pic maybe because it was under a shade tree.
