Hood hinges

The hood hinges on my 59 are pretty sloppy. I found a remanufactured(?) pair on evil bay for $200 that appear to be for a 59 however, from the pics, there are no numbers on the parts. My originals are stamped with numbers and say Atwater. The ones on evil bay have no stampings that I can see. Should I be concerned?

What would be involved in attempting to refurbish my old ones myself? I'm assuming all new rivets but would the holes be elongated too? Could they be welded shut and redrilled? Would that hold up?

Thumbs up

SMS in New Hampshire does great work. They rebuild and re-phosphate them.

Highly recommended.
