worked fine for me.

Nice pics. It was a beautiful day. I think they must have gotten 600 cars. The show field was jammed and there were two more rows of swap than last year.

That Fouranado is a damn fine looking car. I love that paint job.

Thanks to the RE Olds Chapter for all the hard work that went into it.

Lots of really good photos, nice job.

Many nice cars, I really like the 70, pics 19-22. The wagon in #23 deserves a nod too as many others. The Toro in #81,pretty cool,

All of them in one place, sounds like a nice day.

A lot of nice cars, almost not enough time to see them all, and get pics. Eric, I stopped by your space to say hi, but you were tied up with a customer. Starfire, on the way there we were talking about my buddies '80 Firenza that he bought new, he had a scan of the window sticker, 231 2bbl 4spd...a real barnstormer! I went with him to Grand Rapids, Mi. back in the day to look at it before he bought it, silver w/black trim, and a red interior, very similar to the Starfire of that era. Ctls442, you're welcome.

Cool pics Dan. I was really surprised to see that Fournado! Seen lots of articles on it and read about its development. Too bad you couldn't track test it...Which one was your car?

I feel your pain. I was about 3 hours shy of being able to finish working on my Starfire to bring it, so I just drove with my dad in his '49 98.

Early build on the Fouranado this car was pre Hurst Olds so I guess that shifter handle was not in production. We had Dave Landrith with us at Homecoming and then the following day at Eyes on Design. Dave was the guy who ran the Hurst Performance Engineering when this car was built and was responsible for the project. Hopefully some of you got to talk with Dave as he has many stories to share about those days with Hurst.
We had a great time and want to thank everyone who worked so hard to make this show a success. It was a long trip from Arizona but worth all the effort. Thanks again and I hope we can do it again next year.

I did not take inventory, quite a few Auroras, 1 Silhouette, a couple of Intrigue's and a few Aleros and maybe one Bravada. around 15 would be a guess?

Just out of curiosity, how much did the seller ask for the "origional" '66 F85?

I won a Final 500 key chain in the raffle. I have no need for it. If one of you final 500 owners wants it, I will give it to the first person to send me a PM. Please only ask for this if you are an owner of a Final 500 and don't have the key chain.

SPOKEN FOR

I thought that was funny too. I have no idea why peeps don't spell check especially on things like this. I guess it's a good conversation starter though, but likely to PO the seller when mentioned....UNLESS it's just an 'origional' way of spelling original. Spelling Bee competition....uhhh, can you give me that word with a definition????

We drove over on Friday afternoon and stayed in Flint then drove to the show Saturday morning. Our 04 Bravada ran like a charm and we parked on the show field.
Had great time and found a few parts for a couple of different cars.Met up with several friends while there and stayed till around 4:30 then went to dinner and drove home arriving here at 1:00 AM.
This is the best showing of Oldsmobiles I have seen and we have been going there for 10 years now! To get that many people to drive this far and show, swap visit and have fun for a one day event is just great!
Thanks to all the people who helped make this show work.

Was it anyone from here that was chasing me down as I pulled in Friday evening? If so, I likely came across as a butthole. People was asking me for prices on parts and I was not even stopped yet. I didn't know where I was going and trying to figure things out. I popped off and said the prices are higher on Friday because they were all flippers. I told them if i give a good deal it was going to be to customers and not other dealers. I heard through the grapevine that it did not settle well with some people. Sorry if I offended anyone but it was how I felt at the time.
