Holes in intake!!!!

Holes in intake!!!!

can someone please tell me why these 2 small holes are inside this intake!!!
It's an Edlebrock 350 Olds Performer!!!

To expand on the previous post, those are for the EGR fittings on the 307. You need to plug them with pipe plugs if you are not using EGR.

If the cap on the driver's side has a good seal, then you don't necessarily need to cap them. That just lets to two sides breathe into each other. Not great, but not horrible either.

Do the holes go in to the cross over?What goes in them if you are using an EGR?You are talking about the two holes under the carb right?My Holley had one I welded it shut,but would still like more about it.No body could tell me anything.
