High Performance Olds Dealers
I know Oldsmobile was more of a luxury brand but were there any high performance dealers Like Chevy had Yenko, Baldwin-Motion ect. and Pontiac had Royal. Were there any dealers that did any upgrades to their new Olds?

You mean like hurst?
Or local dealers, like Berejik? He was the local 'Royal' but for Oldsmobile nuts. Unfortunately, he passed away earlier this year. :/
Hell of a guy. A true gentleman. No matter what kind of Oldsmobile you had, he'd help you anyway he could.

Actual dealers not aftermarket vendors

Baldwin Chevrolet and Motion Performance were two companies that joined forces, so saying a "Baldwin-Motion did at least one Olds" is not correct.
However, Motion Performance did something with Markowitz (sp?) Olds for a short time.

Yes that's why I shared the article Diego. It started as a Baldwin-Motion initially but split and Motion teamed up with Markowitz and that combo made more for a few dealer offerings but still failed anyway with lack of marketing. After that post I did a quick.look up for more details and found the article.

And what I'm suggesting is that there should be no Baldwin mentioned when Oldsmobile is concerned - Motion Performance either teamed up with the Olds dealership or did things on their own. Baldwin was merely a Chevy dealership.

I misunderstood your "Baldwin-Motion initially..." as I thought you were saying Baldwin-Motion created Olds street machines.
However, it was the Markowitz partnership that was short-lived, and it was concurrent to the partnership with Baldwin.

I've often wondered if Markowitz ever sold a RamLux Toronado, and also what type of suspension mods they would have had.
Yes, Indy- 3-barrel Holley. Haven't seen one in years but I know several people who ran them. The whole secondary side was one big opening.

Since Marty Schorr was involved with the promotion of Baldwin-Motion, it's likely that you'll find out more in the magazine he edited, Hi-Performance Cars.
