I have "deluxe" seat belts that are from my ’70 Cutlass bench seat car. The lap belts for driver and passenger (and retractor) were a smaller buckle than the shoulder belt and center-passenger seat buckles. The only parts that are missing are the front seat retractors for the lap belts. A parts wanted response is inconclusive as to whether it is the correct retractor. Can anybody help me w/ documentation or information on what to call these so people know the correct ones I am looking for?

Well, the front seat Deluxe belts have small buckles and the shoulder and rear seat Deluxe belts have large buckles. From this, all that should be required from someone who knows belts is to ask for front Deluxe seat belt retractors.

You can also ask for folks with 70 Deluxe belts to post the model number from the retractor belt tag, then use this to verify the correct belts are being offered to you.
