Help!
I know this should go in the Parts Wanted section, but I figure I'll get more "discussion" here than there!
This is what I need for the Prettiest One - I'm sure you guys can help! Now don't be asking me a lot of questions, cause I don't know!!!
...The heater hose is missing the clip that goes on the A/C compressor bracket...
72 Cutlass Supreme with A/C Does this pic help? Thanks guys!!

A Damesl in distress?
Are you absolutely, positively, certain it's not in the bag ya jes got from Fusick's? I believe it's spose to be,
But I will admit. They're pics of the hose brackets leaves me scratch'in my head.

Rob..... you leave her hoses alone!! LOL!! Yep.... I do believe that is the clip I need. Now, where can I get one?? Any one out there in Classic Olds country have one laying around that you want to get rid of?? She is going to have beautiful correct black hoses soon, and I need that clip! I don't think Fusicks has it.

I think I've created a monster.
Need that clip, as called in the book, maybe I shouldn't of said anything about it to Sandra but sometimes I'm my own worst enemy.
That one for the wires on the alternator bracket too.

The Handsomest One isn't having a good morning either. We have a little coolant spout happening from between the intake manifold and the block at the front of the engine. So..it's off to the Tech forum. (I was afraid this would happen...car hasn't been driven nearly enough)

It sounds like the front water passage ports weren't sealed right Col, have to use RTV around those and the rear water passage. I changed mine out with my wife's help in a few hours, a lot easier when it's all clean and was just recently done. The manifold isn't that heavy, that leaning over and lifting is the hard part, perfect situtution to throw out your back.
It ain't heavy.... for it's my manifold.
Anybody find that clip yet?
I'll find mine missing if Sandy gets anywhere near my car.
An orange zip tie will work, it'll match the new engine paint.

Ok someone send Sandy that clamp. Blue remember your the one that started her on this quest. At my age everything is heavy so I'm not going to chime in on the manifold argument. Thats why I own every lifting device known to mankind except for a forklift and I have considered that too.

I used to haul two, sometimes three, 75 pound bundles of shingles up a ladder 2-3 stories all day to do roofs. Hang 12-16 foot 5/8" drywall all day without a lifter, on cathedral ceilings. Wheelbarrow concrete up steep driveways from the street to do footers, after I dug them by hand, in the snow, and ice, the driveway was uphill both ways too.

This could be entertaining.
My neighbor lady was spray painting a rooster figurine when she said the top button popped off and she got painted instead... I told her she was just holding the can backwards.
The funny part was that later that evening, her husband used the rooster as a target for his BB gun. He got caught red handed and she was still black handed...
Funny it was but not for her - she was POed.

The bracket with the clamp next to it was rear of manifold on driver side connected to a metal line that I believe went to the brake booster.
Anybody got some headlight bezels , console top trim plate , nice turn signal lever , front marker lights , I have gotten no responses in the for sale section, but here Sandy has tons of responses for a little bracket ???
I guess you have to be female to get what you need around here !! LOL
