Harmonic balancer bolt torque.

What is the correct torque on the harmonic balancer bolt on a 65 400? My CSM list it as being 50 lbs. seems I have read somewhere else it's around 150 lbs.

Do you have the small or large bolt? There were two different sizes used in 1965 and that could be the difference your coming up with.

Here's another thread discussing this difference.

the large bolt taking a 1-1/8" socket needs 160 ft lb. with oil as the lube on the threads.
