Geez that car is a 1 wash away from being rinsed down a drain. I could a bought 1 just like it in the 70's for the price of scrap that was in better shape than that.

Even done those cars do nothing for me. They look like an upside down tub.

yeah, I'm not a fan of those pre 911 Porsche's but they are rare and desirable (and cool). Heck in 1974 if any of us had the money we could have bought a dozen cars for 10k or less that are now worth a ton more

Nope.

I can find plenty of rust right in my own driveway.

25+ years ago, i work in abody shop and i worked on one guys cars..all he bought where bug eye sprites, 2002 BMW coupes, and 356 Porches...

I never worked on so much rusty junk in my life...after a year or so..i went to the bodyshop owner and said give me back my collision work or i quit..he convinced me i was so good with those cars, i should give it another chance..3 weeks later..i quit..couldnt take it...there was rust on rust and back then nothing repopped...

So eBay changed their links sometime in the last six weeks.

Just search the item number, which is embedded in the URL, to find this.

He's not an optimist, he's out of his friggin' mind...I like the way his story changed from auction to auction... "after getting a few offers at $50k"...wait...wait..hold the phone... "after getting a few offers at $40k, we thought the fair thing to do was start it at $42k"....seriously....wtf...
