Do we have any guitar players on board here? I'm new to playing. I started four months ago.

Purchased this guitar and amp in October. I'm going after a vintage sound, like my car The amp is 1974 gibson G55. The guitar is a new re-issue of the 72 custom telecaster. Its got the humbucker in the neck position with the classic "nasty" single coil in the bridge. Its pretty versitile, gives that rock'n thump and the twang its known for. I have a cheap effects pedal, and its cool, but I want something else.




I love it! Don't know why I waited sooo long to learn. My musician friends I've known for years are now my teachers.

I'm looken for more vintage tone. Specifically an echoplex if you have one or know where I might get one, let me know. Ebay has them, but this stuff is getting pretty collectable, and....pricey.

 

I've been playing for almost 10 years. I love old Fender tele's.

I honestly drifted away from playing my electric. I play mostly on my Martin acoustic.

I suggest all Boss for effects though.
