Check those coins for real silver. You might have some real money there.

That one particular penny is very rare with only three in existence! Would you take two cents for it?

I was going to guess a "French letter," in keeping with the theme, but I guess I should've guessed different.

Snow is great on Christmas cards or polar bear documentaries, ask anyone from the Northern states.
Looks like the previous owners took the beach to the car rather than the car to the beach.....
Still, it does authenticate it as a car from somewhere warm. If it was from the rust belt you might have found....... most of the floor missing.

Roger.

about 25 years ago I was on my way to look at a 51 Chevy hardtop to buy, when I spotted a 65 442 in a guys driveway for sale. He wanted $1350 for it and it was all original even had the dog dish hub caps. It was white with blue interior column shift auto with bucket seats and run and drove good but needed paint very badly. I offered him $900 and he took it. He had bought it from a friend and decided to just resell it. (so the story went) he did not have it long only a few weeks.
Brought it home and the drives seat was sagging so I took it out to fix the springs. There was a slit in the seam of the seat and what looked like a dollar bill stuck in it. Turned out to be 12 50 dollar bills, All rubber banded together and the outside one was very weathered like it had been there a long time. And of course the wife was standing right there when I found it. But, turned that car into a $300 buy really quick.
Always check the seats!

My California car, we found an unpunched unused ignition key. Nice and sharp since it had never been used. Yes, it was for the car and works perfectly (guess the key is no longer "NOS" now HA). Oh yeah, the build sheet also. Both previous owners had no idea they were there and never looked for them either.

Hard to imagine a California car from the seventies without one somewhere.

I think I see a BX cable bushing in there.

Ah. I'd always thought it was Chicago.

Guess I should've read the stories more closely 40 years ago.

I built a 71 Monte Carlo for my son about 15 years ago, found a diamond ring in the heater duct. It must have gone down the defroster duct, and fell to the bottom. Unfortunatly it was a very small diamond, gold ring. Still cool though.

My buddy and i parted a car out about ten years ago and found a big gold ring in it under drivers seat. Well i seen it in his tool box last year and ask him what you going to do with it. He said he hadn't really thought about being as it was worth maybe $50 bucks. The diamond was a fake he said. Well a couple days later while getting some parts out of his garage i called him. Hey i am going to sell the ring you okay with that he yes car part cash. Took it in they gave me $380 for it at a coin and gold exchange!

I dropped the gas tank on my 68 Cutlass looking for a build sheet and found a rusty old hide-a-key with two original keys wrapped in tissue paper.

I drive through Brazil, IN sometimes, where Hoffa was from.

All I've found so far in my 442 were a couple of old rusty sparkomatics.
