He has been diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS), as well as an intact atrial septum. Josiah underwent an extensive heart catheterization that put a stint through his previously blocked atrial septum the day he was born. Josiah came through the Norwood procedure successfully, 13 days after he was born. Today the whole family is in PCICU watching him recover, and grow in strength. I will see if I can swing it IDAS, Hopefully the weather gods will cooperate and we can help this family out, I have 2 kids of my own, and know and appreciate that I have 2 healthy kids (my daughter caught MRSA at the lake earlier this year and had to have surgery to drain the infection, it was pretty intense on us for a couple hours but she pulled through great and is doing fine now) I think she liked all the attention at the hospital (she had to stay overnight), But it sure gives you a deeper appreciation of what it would be like if you had a child with a prolonged illness. I will look forward to meeting you there, just look for the guy with the 2 cars on the 32 ft gooseneck, that'll be me. Just hope you have a lot close by I can pull this monster into to and park for a few hours. I am buying some new front hubs and bearings this week for my viking blue recreation so it will be ready to go for the 19th. Oldsdroptop

Good luck with the show.I have an autistic step son so I know the challenges.I'll try and make it and bring my buddy w/his 33 Vicky rod. I am still trying to sell my 75 Delta conv. so look for us. IDAS I have the new brakes (rotors and new wheel bearings and dust caps) on my recreation car now...so I'm good to go for the show with the twins in tow (literally) Can't wait to meet you there...the wife may come not sure though, but my 2 kids will be there with me. They'll be easy to pick out from the crowd, they'll be the ones wearing as much ice cream as they will be eating, equally on their clothes and faces. I'll be zooming in on John Cessarich on WYFF to get my weather facts on the 18th for the 19th...I'm sure you get that as you are local to Greenville and Spartanburg. We have several people we camp with at the Lake that are from Greer as is the woman that owns the campground (she also owns Farview child care facility there in Greer). I was there in downtown Greer last week at Line St and Pointsett St due to the crossings being activated with no trains in sight. Didn't take me to long to figure out why. Rained off and on all day for benefit. Still had 49 cars...raised 1800.00 for this child. We all need to help others who are in need. I've found this a wonderful site with very good people.
