A woman I work with told me she had a 1969 hurst olds survivor she talk how it wasnt perfect when she discribed it to me, but i was blown away when i seen it. It was a nine out 10 has not moved in 15 yrs. The trans pan is wet was not able to ck motor with my bad shoulder. I thoubht their might be some mice in it or something minor dust in side looks new inside. A remarkable find vin is right chrome valve covers ho on side of trans I bieleve its a true survivor wasnt able to get picks yet her asking price was 50,000

I saw an old grey haired git (like me) driving a dark green 69 Cutlass 2 door hardtop yesterday. He looked pleased as punch, and the car was really nice....this might be even more exciting, though !!
Understatement perhaps.

I got the car home today about 3:30. I have gone over it with a fine tooth comb. I have not found anything seriously wrong with it. I was able to I D all the serial numbers and it is a survivor. Car number 485 she had original bill of sale it sold for 3795 plus tax title and licences. It is truly one of those camp fire stories that you hear about and say only if I could find one. It wasn't cheap but I found one. I will post a link to shutter fly album as soon as its finished loading.

MuscleCar Review
Great barn find story in the new Musclecar review of a 1 of 54 "66" W 30 Factory Super Stock 442 found in a backyard in Minnesota. buyer thought he had bought a standard rough 442 until he got it home and did some research. Now that would be a surprise.

Wow, just noticed one thing from the pic's, have only seen one other 1969 H/O like it in that, it apparently was not ordered with the tick-tock-tach, rare in that you would find one without it...

Hardly what I'd call a 9 out of 10, but a good one nonetheless. I think you will find those body side moldings have rivets holding them to the body. They were a popular add-on back then and actually, I'm surprised there isn't flaking paint and rust near the rivets. A good body man can weld the holes closed when refinishing the car. Have you and the owner reached an agreement on price? I hope so, on your behalf. I would hate to see you do all the work only to find that she is stuck on $50k. If that car was in #1 condition with the miles and paperwork, IMO, it's worth somewhere near $90k, BUT, again, IMO, it's $50k away from that condition and quite a bit of work.
Still, you have scored big-time and I wish you the best in your negotiations and efforts.
