I had received an invitation to join the Mid Atlantic Chapter of the OCA to display my 65 F-85 in their designated show area at the Charlotte AutoFair this weekend. I was told their was going to be a contest, but I really didn't even know if I would qualify to enter as I am not a member. While pulling up into the designated area I was floored at the amount of absolutely jaw dropping beautiful Oldsmobiles (mostly 70-72 Cutlass's) on hand. And after walking around I had psyched myself out over the beauty of the competition. I decided to go enjoy the rest of the day with the wife and kiddies and let these guys do what they do. When we returned later I found this with an invitation to return with the club next spring. It felt great! I did stick around and spend some time with a few members that I had been acquainted with in the past. It was a blast.
