At the risk of getting political - I couldn't agree more.

 

I don't get all this Bernie stuff. Why are people putting him on everything? I just don't get the joke. Or is Bernie a joke? Who knows.

Its just a new meme format. The picture taken of him at the inauguration that is posted everywhere was due to his posture and the mittens; that someone pointed out were given to him by someone who handmade them. After this fact circled around the internet I'm sure people took his posture as "sassy" and used it for memes and it skyrocketed from there.

 

It definitely is photo shopped... BUT, what is behind the logic of the Chapter even posting it ?????

I believe it is called humor. It made me laugh.

 

Bernie wore those “mittens” at the Inauguration. I guess people find it funny that in this day and age people actually still wear “mittens”. Someone started something with a photo of Bernie wearing the “mittens” in a different location. Someone else picked it up and posted a different photo. It took off from there....thousands of photos have now been photoshopped of Bernie and his “mittens” in different locations. The “mittens” were handmade for him by a local schoolteacher.

To Bernie’s credit he took the joke well. He had the photo transferred onto a sweater, had a boatload made up and is selling them. All money going to charity - $1.5 million so far.
