Here's a semi-rare booklet of GM's new 1971 car lineup. I say semi-rare because I've hardly seen it anywhere. Could be millions of them out there but unknown to me. I have this booklet somewhere. I misplaced it somewhere and can't find it at the moment. I got it from my dad when we went to see the "new" 71 cars at the Olds dealership soon before he went out on the big GM strike!!!!!. He always got the trinkets from the dealerships and then gave them to either me or my brother. I always drooled over the 71 442 in this book. Interestingly, in the mid-90s, I came across a bittersweet with white top and black/white interior with white stripes, body color SSIIs, and no W-25 hood but a busted block sitting in a field in North Carolina. Appeared just like the one in the book, but paint was faded. Great price, couldn't pass it up. I got talked into painting it 1990 Lumina red. Which didn't turn out too bad anyway, but If it ever gets painted again, it's going back to factory color. Don't see this version often, so I thought I'd just throw it out there and share.
Always great when you can land something like this, I'm always on the hunt for those obscure 1979 booklets/brochures, etc., and they do make great reference sources.
