Fuel tank matting

I'm not sure what it's called, but I'm looking for a source for the matting that goes between the fuel tank and the bottom of the trunk. My usual sources, Fusick and OPGi do not have anything.

Thanks for the mentions tkcutlass and dc2xdrvr.

Bob - here is a link to my ad on this site. If you want to know the total cost PM me with the year/model and your shipping zipcode.

Thumbs up for Patton as well.
Ordered some for my gas tank replacement project for my Toro not too long ago, great product, no issues!

I/and a highly reputable restorer did a frame off restoration on my ‘70 W-30 to factory stock. The gas tank pad that Patton sells was one of the first things that I bought on my parts list. Great guy and easy to work with.

Did all cars come with this mat? When I dropped the tank on my Lansing built 65 442 it didn’t have one.

AFAIK, yes, to prevent wear and noise on the tank and floor pan as the parts "squirm" around due to flex on the road.

Don't laugh at this, but I have seen tar paper used for this, looks like oem. Doubled up & glued together making it thick like o.e.m

Perhaps the station at the assembly line were all out when my car past that assembly point.
