Fuel Tank Issues On My '67

Hi guys, as the title states I've been having lots of problems due to having just discovered that the interior of my fuel tank is apparently rusted to hell and has basically disabled the carburetor as it is not functioning correctly at all even after replacing both the inline fuel filter, and the one in the carburetor. I'm in the process of gathering parts to get ready to replace the gas tank and was looking to replace the sending unit sock filter with one from OPGI while everything is apart.

My question is this: there are two sock filters listed under the '67 Cutlass fuel system parts on OPGI's website; one is a 3/8 and the other is 5/16, and until I get the tank out I won't know which one I need, does anyone have any ideas as to which one I might already have?

The car is a:
'67 Cutlass Supreme
5.4L 330cu
4bbl carb

As far as I know most everything on the car is original without any modifications by myself or any previous owners.
Please let me know if I'm leaving out any pertinent information.

Thanks,
- Seth

The best thing to do is to get under the back of the car and check the size of the rubber hose that goes to the sending unit. In fact, on a 67, you should be able to actually measure the diameter of the metal tube that comes out of the sender itself. That's the size sock you need.

If it's the high compression 330 (320 HP, 4-barrel), it should be 3/8".
I believe the 5/16" line was only used on the low compression 2-barrel engines and the the L-6's.
