Fuel injection and a tremec

For my next project I am strongly considering a better then stock '70 442. I am planning on TPI and a 5 speed tremec using a stock appearing shifter and center consul. I also would like to keep the engine as stock appearing as possible, except for the obvious fuel rails that will be painted to match. Any info or, better yet, pictures of similar projects please.

Also, I plan on putting my 1970 4spd convertible for sale soon.

Thanks

Cool project. I assume you mean port injection, as opposed to TPI, which is a specific small block Chevy injection setup. If you're planning on using a stock-appearing manifold (the Chinesium Professional Products intakes have injector bosses) then this won't be "tuned port" in any sense.

Are you thinking about batch-fire, which doesn't require a crank position sensor, or sequential, which does?

I'm working on the exact same on a '72 350, so I'm interested in hearing the comments on this.

Port injection is fine. This is more initial research. I'm just learning what other people have done. I've heard fast EFI is the best out there. They just came out with a new TBI system that I would also entertain, but I need to fit it under the factory ram air.

If I where going the 350 route, I would consider an LS motor.

I like that I have Olds power in an Olds. Besides, where I live it isn't easy to get a LS motor, so buying the few things missing from my setup is easy. :P

Big question is what are your goals?
More hp? Carb and single plane intake are your best bet.
Better drivability? TBI will be fine and very easy. Might get a little better milage too.
Better milage/drivability? The OD trans with sequential port injection and spark control is the way to go. There are some "kits" that convert chevy motors to the LS type controller and even use the 411 ECU. You need to add a 24x crank sensor and cam sensor (I've seen distributor and cam gear mounted mods). Megasquirt is another possibility.

Are you a woman I've dated in the past?
What's your current hp levels? Are you changing cams, heads, exhaust?
