Free case of Valvoline VR1 Racing Synthetic Motor Oil

Found this on the net just in case anyone was interested.

http://www.valvolinevr1racingoil.com/

For a rebate if you buy a case of same or 6 qts. Rebate is up to $50. and cases are going for $61. on Amazon and qts are around $8. on the shelf. Must print out rebate and expires 5/31/11 for the initial purchase and must be post marked by 6/30/11. I'm thinking about trying it in my coupe, since it has about 11.5:1 compression and I only drive it occasionally. But when I do its usually "to the wood" I don't know about switching to synthetic though.

I was given a dozen cases of Valvoline Synthetic oil when I had a race car years ago. The engine had about 60k as I recall and when we switched to synthetic it started leaking and white smoking after startup. Switched back to conventional oil and it stopped. Just my experience. It doesn't mean that would happen to you.
