Frame

Thanks for having me...i'm in the sand blasting business...my questions..i have a 66 toro..wanting to up grade to disc..front and back...my question is...rather than swap brake parts...will a 71 toro frame with 455...fit under the 66....i'll be doing a frame off restore...have access to a low mile 71...need frame sizing chart chart...pdf..are these frames close to fit...where is best place to look , for chart......thanks again..

The early Toronado didn't use a full length frame. I don't know If the 1971 partial frame would interchange. But I think it would be easier to locate which years of disc brake setups would interchange and make that swap in the front. Then use an aftermarket disc setup for the rear axle. A couple members have done major build threads on their Toronado restorations. When you have time read through to see what they did about brakes. Here's a link to one that comes to mind. John
