And both of our new "foreign" vehicles are made in the USA. People have said to me about the profits going overseas...which yes does matter...but also these were built in the USA by USA workers who have families and these factories as part of their communities. So, I would rather buy a foreign vehicle made in the USA than a foreign vehicle made in a foreign land.

I've witnessed Honda's plants firsthand in Central Ohio. They help in the community, provide a good solid wage for the residents, and also drive growth for the towns they populate.

A good tech has to love flat-rate (as does his employer)!

We can't play the wage arbitrage game for vey long. Either the unions have to lower their benefit/wages or the jobs go overseas or to Mehico. Economics is the play. They can get the same car made for less, plus the shipping, it works out for more profit. Thank your esteemed leaders for that. They don't care about keeping jobs in this country. They are paid off by the bigger corporations to let them move jobs out of the country lowering our standard of living. They couldn't care less as long as they still have their house in the Hamptons. It makes me ill. There is NO loyalty except to the mighty dollar. So un American it smells like a rotten fish. And I mean all of them not jus the Ds or Rs. All of them. Except for Trump. He can't be bought. Vote for him, he's our only chance at getting our country back to where it once was.

I'm a Manufacturing Enginner. Worked at Buick City Flint MI and Eaton Marshall MI (posi diffs). Both facilities now only cement foundations. The ground is too contaminated to tear up the floors. Google Earth Flint MI Hamilton Ave. The Buick Enginnering Building was on the nw corner of Hamilton and cole. It's not about wages it's about taxes. No property tax on a Mexican goverment owned factory building. And the money leaving the country to that Mexico plant goes into a Swiss Bank never to return to the US. Then it can't come back without being taxed so it's reinvested overseas. The cost of labor difference including shipping is not a factor. I'll buy a Japanese car made in America but not a ford built in Mexico. Trump seems to want to do something about this. Thank God I'm working in Aerospace now.

I remember as a kid visiting relatives in Youngstown the sky was orange and the dirt was orange.Akron was no better with the tire factories belching black smoke. I firm believer in manufacturing jobs in the USA but not at any cost. The D and R are are the same coin in the corporation pocket not looking out for us.We send our children off to fight in wars be won't make sure they get the proper care when they come back.

Yes and thats exactly what I say every time I see Trace Atkins asking for monthly money donations for the wounded warrior project. He nor anyone else should have to think about this. THIS should be on the governments tab which is already paid for by you and me. Nobody should have to be ask to donate to take care of our vets! Nobody...it should be a given! Something seriously wrong here. You fight for our freedom, get hurt doing so, Neither you or your family should have to worry about anything upon your return. Pose that question to the candidates who will get "in" this November! That question should be in the top 5.
