Fisher Body StageCoach

Fisher Body StageCoach
HI Guys,
Hopefully the pics will load. Ever since I was a little kid we had this very detailed Stage Coach "thingy" in the upstairs hallway on a desk. My folks got it from one of our neighbors, but that's all they remember. It wasn't until today that I figured out what it was. I was looking at a Fisher Body manual for 1972 GM cars and right there on the cover was an illustration of my Stage Coach. And I'm not talking something "like" my Stage Coach....it IS my Stage Coach. All the details are the same, and mine even has the "F" in a shield on both doors. So I've got a replica/model, whatever you want to call it, of the Fisher Body Coach logo! Has anyone ever seen one of these? Were they given out to people in the company...or could you one back in the day? If anyone has any info on this I'd love to hear it.
Thanks,
bob

They had both the scale model like yours, plus a full size one at the REO Museum. I have no idea what the small ones were for, promotions? You might want to do a search on the "Fisher Body" history, and see if anything turns up.

It's possible the coach is a model built by someone (teen boy?) for a competition created by the Fisher Body Craftman's Guild. Kits were available in the early 1930's, per this webpage:

Examples of the models are very simillar to your picture.
