First show of the season
Yesterday was our first show of the season down here in the wilds of southern Maryland. Because my son's Boy Scout troop helps out it was a long day (7:30-5pm), but a beautiful one for a show. About 70 and sunny. We had 585 cars and as usual, mine was one of 5 Olds. No awards. But I never expect one because she's a driver. But lots of conversations with people stopping by to talk Oldsmobiles and their memories of them.

Yup. Viking Blue. That was one of the main things that sold me on her years ago. I just love this color, and with the white interior it just pops and screams 1970's. The original owner ordered it from the factory like that with white instead of pearl.

Looks great, I love the white interior. I wanted to change mine from blue to white but I have a blue dash. The white interior cars came with a black dash and the blue with blue so I put blue back in mine. But that white sure does POP! It's still too cold for a show up here!

Looks good. Did you change the wheels from the pic in your avatar? Avatar looks like Keystone Klassics. You car reminds me of a '70 vert I had before the 442
Just added the bench seat console too. I like it so far. A lot more comfortable to drive

Those bench seat consoles are a nice thing to have aren't they? A little extra storage, a place to rest your arm, and best of all...cupholders! Where did you get yours?

An EBay guy. It's nicely made but no latch on the lid. Vinyl matches really close. I have to leave it kinda loose since I have the split bench with no armrest
