First place three times?

OK, it's a beautiful car, but how does a one-of-none car win first place at OCA Nationals three times?

I dunno, but what a shame such an awesome car has made its way to the the B-J freakshow. Guess its inevitable.

First place just means 900 or more points out of 1000. The judges are not tasked with authenticating a car, just with judging it as it is on the field.

If I'm reading my book correctly Joe is right, the only platform to come with the turbo charged 215 in '62 would be the Series 3100 F85 Jetfire Coupe.

OK, took another look and noticd the car sold at b-j event 10 years ago. I recall the car from those days, but why are we talking about something that happened more than 10 years ago?

The turbo could have been noted when judged, points deducted and the car could have still met the 900 points first place....Tedd

So I'm guessing it's some kind of fake. What is wrong with it, I'm not familiar with that style of Olds?

I will presume 3 different Nationals in a modified class for the year classification specified. I vaguely recall seeing this car at the Minneapolis Nationals, and it was righteous! Then again, I am a sucker for wagons, or perhaps maybe just an overall sucker.... Regardless it is a gorgeous car with plenty of attitude. The price paid for any car regardless of pedigree, accolades, or prior ownership is at the buyer's discretion. You can only hope that your heart does not put your *ss in a sling.
