2011 Calendar Cars
First of all I want to thank EVERYONE who took the time to send in pictures of there pride and joys! It is much appreciated and shows why Oldsmobile owners are a special bred!
If your car didn't make it in I'am truly sorry! I can only hope you dont hold that agaisnt me and support this one of kind project! Check out the pictures and try again next year,You have a great chance of getting your car in with a good picture!
This years pictures were spectacular! As you can see it is loaded with A body cars.......Nature of the beast since that is one of the most popular Oldsmobile platforms out there and was the most submitted car.
This will be a 13 month calendar with each month being a full size picture...Last year it was 2 cars per month,Trying to mainstream the calendar like in the stores......Big glossy etc.......
My plan with the engines is to have them opaque and under the calendar number layouts just like lastyear I thought that was cool....

Nice work! I bet it was hard choosing the ones to use. Good job and thanks for sharing.

 

I couldnt do it...........I had to random draw the final 13........theres at least 20 other pictures that are just as cool.......They will get top billing on the back submissions page............

Each one is unique in its special way.
Jerr - if they were all this good, I can see why it was hard to pick...

Blue - you should have had a couple dogs peeking out the back window like the Matchbox car.
Need to at least photoshop them in. My new Vista came with them as standard equipment...

Congrats to all and thanks for helping Jerr continue to provide us some great looking calendars each year!

 

BigJerr...let me add my appreciation for all your hard work that went into this project. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been to sift through all the beautiful cars and try to narrow it down to just 13. A big, fat congratulations to you on a job well done and also to all those who submitted pics of their cars. I'll certainly be placing my order for multiples...one for the office, one for the office at home, one for the garage, one for my son...

Been workin on the back page honorable mention page all day.........Recieved over 350 diffrent pictures from all over the world! It should be a cool one for next year!

I'll be ordering one or two again for sure. I see Tom from Germany is in again this year (onya Tom) and using the "before" photo of the green car was a nice touch. Balances out the pics of all the nice restored cars and makes for a non-elitist production
Good to see that 3/4 of the cars are '70 => '72 models. They didn't feature too strongly in 2010's calendar so you've been very diplomatic.

Thanks for including the Kevin's 1970 Sebring Yellow Cutlass SX in the 2011 calendar. The SX455 club will promote the 2011 calendar.

 

Heres the 13 engine backgrounds for 2011.......plus two samples...Shaping up to be a cool calendar this year......

 

The printer says two weeks or less to calendar time........If you have the names and info or know the people whos cars made it please send it over so i dont have to go back thru 250 emails! lol
